“操！”一声低骂带着唾沫星子，砸在对面桌那女的脸上。我，林峰，眼睁睁看着这个满脸横肉的壮汉，一杯啤酒直接倒在那姑娘白皙的脸上。姑娘噗通一声跪下了，对着那壮汉连连磕头，额头都磕红了。

我娘的，这什么事儿啊？我寻思着上去理论，结果那壮汉一回头，看见是我，咧嘴一笑，露出两排大黄牙：“嘿，哥们儿，新来的？别介，事儿不归我管，我哥们儿乐意，我还能说什么？”

我靠，这还不算完？旁边几个喝酒的也都看热闹不嫌事大，有人起哄：“小子，玩票的？别多管闲事啊，这姐们儿是我们的菜！”

我 Couldn't give a damn about their "food". I stepped forward regardless. "You guys are crazy!" I yelled, my voice rising above the din. "What's wrong with you? She didn't do anything to deserve that!"

The muscular man's eyes narrowed, but he didn't immediately make a move. He looked at me, then back at the girl, still on the ground. After a moment, he sighed and said, "Alright, alright, enough is enough. Get up."

The girl slowly got up, her face and clothes still covered in beer. She looked at me with tears in her eyes, as if to thank me.

"What's your name, sister?" I asked, offering a helping hand.

"Mei Lin," she replied, taking my hand. "Thanks for your help. Could you give me a ride somewhere? I'm home alone tonight."
